Of course SUPPRESSION of religion is wrong. No atheists I know advocate such tyranny. But in most European nations today religion has almost disappeared because people stopped believing it. Countries like Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, etc. And far from being “horrible places to live” they are indeed exceedingly nice places to live.
